TMDHosting Are The Worst Hosting Company
I never tend to write reviews about businesses or services, but I have really had a bad experience and need to let everyone know about TMD Hosting.
The reason I say this is as follows, we were hosting a few Wordpress MU installs with them and then they reached 300 blogs which is really not alot. This was on the shared hosting account that we had with them, so they suspended an unlimited package then said we need to upgrade to a VPS to handle the wordpress MU sites. So we upgrade to a VPS at $80 per month.
A calendar month later they determine to again freeze the VPS and now say we must upgrade to a dedicated server. Theres only so much nonsense someone can take I mean these MU sites only had 300 blogs. So we just informed them that they should shut the MU installs down and refund the money as we had paid for 3 months upfront on their word that the VPS was the suitable choice for long term. They then said that they would not refund the remaining money because we used to much resources, when it was them that recommended the VPS in the first place only a month ago.
So we have essentially been left out of pocket by TMD Hosting and lost the sites that we were building up for over a year and they do not have a care in the globe about it. They always try to make out that the user is in the wrong even though we pay our hosting fees monthly without a problem.
I know that hosting companies do tend to lie about their packages selling unlimited etc, but TMD Hosting totally go past that and cut the site off even when hardly nothing is being used. This hosting company really does not care about anything except money and I would warn anyone who is going to host with them to think again big time, they may promise you all theseextravagantpackages but when it comes down to it they will cut you off and keep your money unless you upgrade.
